Setting up a blog for a product launch can be a critical element for success.
When you get this right, your visitors are less distracted by blog elements that don’t contribute immediately to the launch experience.
But don’t take my word for it. Here is what this happy launch client had to say:
“Thomas Bartke has helped us tremendously in the PeerTrainer launch to
really connect with our audience. We’ve been able to get incredible results with his launch consulting.
Literally thousands of raving comments not only let us connect with
our leads, but gave us great insight into what they really wanted so we could
make our program this great a success.I look forward to working with you, Thomas again. Thanks a ton and it
was very effective… Thank you, thank you, thank you.”- Habib Wicks of www.PeerTrainer.com
A launch blog has 2 main purposes:
1. Delivering your pre-launch content in a way that is easy for your users to understand and navigate so they consume as much as possible of your pre-launch,
2. Collecting “social proof”.
Social proof – as opposed to “proof” that your product works – is a measure of how well your product and product launch is received. The most visible form of social proof in a launch is the comments that visitors leave, and there are some other elements as well.
Below is an example of a recent launch blog that we created by customizing a free wordpress theme. As you can see, this layout has drawn almost 1,000 comments just on the first pre-launch video alone.
The blue arrows point out important elements that are customized. They all enhance the two main purposes mentioned above.
And, when you look at the image carefully, you will notice that several elements have been REMOVED from the standard blog layout because they would have been distracting to the user experience.
Leave your comment below if you would like to get my free blog customization blueprint. I will email it to you right away. It includes all the important elements to add AND to take out to make your launch blog a comment pulling launch monster.
Launch blog planning and customization are part of our product launch services, and can also be requested as separate consulting items.

Hi. I just stumbled on your blog while searching for the keywords “launch sequence secrets” via google.
Nice blog, nice content, very informative and to the point. I can see a potential trainer in you.
You know what, I’m doing the same exact thing as you here, I mean I just take web pages anatomy and point the important aspects as you did here in the blog picture. Nice, nice!
I’d be glad to receive your blueprint. Please write it fast and send it
Greetings.
